Micro-perforated Aluminum Honeycomb Acoustic Panel

Product Introduction

Aluminum micro-perforated acoustic panels are custom-produced based on acoustic principles. The face panel has a thickness of 1.0mm and perforations with a height of less than 0.1mm, which prevent water droplet penetration and offer excellent anti-penetration performance. They feature full-frequency sound absorption, environmental friendliness, corrosion resistance, fire resistance, impact resistance, and aesthetic appeal. Additionally, they can be customized in size, shape, surface treatment, and color according to customer requirements to meet individual needs. Used on walls or ceilings, they provide architectural designers with more creative inspiration.

The micro-perforated acoustic panel features a face sheet thickness of 1.0mm, with perforations of 0.4×0.04mm and a hole spacing of 2.5×1.2mm. The perforation rate is only 0.5%, achieving up to 330,000 holes per square meter while maintaining surface integrity and excellent decorative effect. The outer surface is perforated through a subtly designed micro-corrugated structure of ribs and supports, which alters the air transmission path, absorbs impact energy from a large number of air particles, and allows sound energy to resonate within the cavity for energy attenuation, thereby delivering superior acoustic performance.

Full-frequency High-efficiency Sound Absorption

Micro-perforated resonance technology with aperture <0.1mm, NRC up to 0.85–0.95, delivering balanced full-frequency sound absorption—strong low-frequency, excellent mid-to-high frequency performance, and noise reduction far exceeding traditional panels, suitable for various acoustic applications.

Class A2 Non-combustible Fire Resistance

Made of high-quality aluminum alloy substrate, meeting A2-grade non-combustible standard, with no open flame, no toxic smoke, high temperature resistance, and flame retardancy. It can be directly used in public spaces, equipment rooms, and other scenarios with high fire safety requirements.

Moisture-proof, Waterproof & Corrosion-resistant

With inherent metal properties, it is moisture-proof, mold-proof, and deformation-resistant, thriving in damp environments. It can be directly used in wet areas such as swimming pools, basements, and restrooms, ensuring a longer service life.

High Strength & Easy Maintenance

The aluminum alloy substrate offers high strength, impact resistance, and durability. Its smooth surface is easy to clean—washable and wipeable—requiring no complex maintenance, significantly reducing long-term upkeep costs.

Modern Aesthetic & Premium Texture

Metallic matte texture, simple and elegant, suitable for modern decoration styles. Customizable in various colors and textures, it combines acoustic performance with decorative appeal, enhancing the premium quality of the space.

Eco-friendly, Formaldehyde-free & Non-toxic

Formaldehyde-free, odor-free, and dust-free, meeting environmental standards. Ready for immediate use after installation, harmless to human health, and suitable for hospitals, schools, high-end offices, and other scenarios with strict environmental requirements.

Product Overview

The micro-perforated aluminum acoustic panel features a micro-corrugated surface structure, where the strategic arrangement of ribs and supports alters the sound transmission path, absorbing a large amount of particle impact energy. Meanwhile, the micro-perforations within the wave troughs create a differential velocity effect through oblique micro-hole acoustic impedance, causing particle compression and friction, which dissipates kinetic energy during penetration. After penetration, the remaining energy particles interact with the 550,000 “geometric curved surfaces” per square meter on the back, generating particle viscosity effects and diffuse interference within the cavity resonance. This allows sound energy to attenuate through cavity resonance, achieving excellent sound absorption performance.

Installation Diagram

Applicable Scenarios: Walls in conference rooms, theaters, exhibition halls, and other large-area spaces with high flatness requirements, compatible with aluminum micro-perforated acoustic panels.
Core Advantages: No visible nail holes, high aesthetic appeal, stable structure, and accessible for future maintenance.
Substrate Treatment: Clean the wall surface, mark positioning lines, install galvanized square steel tubes / light-gauge steel keel framework, and calibrate verticality and flatness.
Fixing Strip Installation: Install dedicated aluminum alloy fixing strips onto the framework according to the layout plan, and apply a touch-up coat of anti-rust paint.
Panel Back-Mounting: Fix the dry-hanging clips to the back of the acoustic panel with rivets, and connect them to the fixing strips using dedicated flat connectors.
Leveling and Edge Finishing: Adjust the flatness of each panel piece by piece to ensure even joint gaps, and use aluminum profiles for internal and external corner trims as well as base edge finishing.

Applicable Scenarios: Standardized walls in offices, shopping malls, and similar spaces requiring rapid installation.
Core Advantages: Easy installation, tight joint connections, and quick disassembly.
Marking and Positioning: Snap layout lines on the wall for keel installation, with spacing matching the panel dimensions.
Keel Fixing: Secure the dedicated keels to the wall using expansion bolts, and adjust for levelness and straightness.
Panel Installation: Install panels sequentially in a single direction by first pressing one side of the panel into the keel clips, then snapping the other side into place to ensure a firm fit.
Edge Trimming: Seal the edges with dedicated edge trim strips to cover gaps and enhance the overall appearance.
